Trip Reports are a great way to learn about other cruiser's experiences. Please share your trip reports here. We'd love to be able to post some of them as Neverland Blogs on our Tink's website. We'll ask permission first, realizing that some people don't want to be in the limelight!

Disney Magic - 9/20/2018 - NYC to Quebec City This was an inaugural sailing for DCL - with the Magic leaving NYC and going to three new ports (Saguenay, Baie Comeau, and Quebec City). The Magic also stopped in Halifax, Nova Scotia, during the sailing. It was fun being on an inaugural sailing as we were welcomed by locals when the Magic docked in the new ports.
Halifax, Nova Scotia was wonderful - I took an adults only Peggy's Cove and Titanic port adventure. We first went to the cemetery where many victims of the Titanic are buried. It is a very special place. Then we went to Peggy's Cove - the road there is beautiful and my group lucked out with good weather (the morning group experienced lots of rain). Peggy's Cove is beautiful - but it was crowded and we didn't get to stay more than 45 minutes there.
At sea days were fun - this was the first Halloween on the High Seas cruise of the season for the Magic. There were ghost stories in the atrium, costume parties, and even trick or treating. Also had pirate night with fireworks and a late night buffet in Cabanas.
Saguenay, Quebec. The greeting we had in this port was amazing. Lots of locals were dressed up in costumes that depicted life in earlier times. Native Americans were there by a teepee, lumber jacks were sawing away, women in long skirts and sunbonnets were passing out blueberry pie and juice. My port adventure got goofed up (it was cancelled and the port adventure desk forgot to notify me) so I ended up walking off the ship and toured the nearby streets of Saguenay. It was a very pleasant walk with cute shops.
Baie Comeau. Our welcome at this very small port was walking through a gauntlet of hockey players who were bellowing out welcomes to the Magic cruisers. So much fun! I took a local shuttle into the town, walked up to a church, and then walked down through the park to walk along the coastline back to the ship. The port was very small - if I had one suggestion to DCL it would be to skip this port and replace it with a stop at Prince Edward Island (I'm a huge Anne of Green Gables fan).
Quebec City. This city is beautiful. My port adventure was "Historic and Modern Quebec" and our tour guide took us all over the city - Plains of Abraham, the Citadel, up to the 32nd floor of a building to see the city by looking down on it, drive by the Parliament, the Chateau Frontenac, and even out to a local university. That evening, the city of Quebec hosted an incredible welcoming fireworks display that we could view from the ship. Thousands of locals were below us at the port watching too. The Magic remained docked in the port over night, and then we disembarked off the next morning.
People at my dining table got off the ship the night before to catch an early morning flight out of Quebec City. They were bit frustrated that they did not know they could have taken DCL ground transfers to Montreal (where there were more flights). I was happy to take the ground transfers to Montreal - the trip there takes about 3 hours - we did hit traffic, but I had plenty of time before my 2:30 flight. I caught the first coach from Quebec City to Montreal and was glad I did that. I got off the ship at 7am.
I hope my trip report helps you. I highly recommend this itinerary. It was fun!
